Captain America: Brave New World is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Sam Wilson / Captain America. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it serves as the fourth installment in the Captain America film series and continues the storyline from the television miniseries “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” (2021). The movie is also the 35th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Plot:
Sam Wilson (played by Anthony Mackie), who has officially taken up the mantle of Captain America, finds himself embroiled in an international incident. As an Avenger and former pararescueman, Wilson relies on his specially-designed wing pack for aerial combat. Unlike his predecessor, Steve Rogers, Wilson lacks superhuman abilities and allies, making his journey to claim the mantle all the more challenging.
