Development:
The series began development in March 2022, with showrunner Dario Scardapane. It was initially planned to have an episodic structure and a lighter tone than the previous Netflix series. Filming started in early 2023 but was suspended due to the Writers Guild of America strike. Marvel Studios later revamped the series, making it more serialized and directly connected to the Netflix continuity.
